February 2019 Economic Stability Dividend

Unionized health sector employees who are covered by collective agreements with the Community Bargaining Association (CBA), Facilities Bargaining Association (FBA), Health Science Professionals Bargaining Association (HSPBA) and Nurses’ Bargaining Association (NBA) will receive a fourth general wage increase in February 2019 resulting from the final Economic Stability Dividend (ESD). June 25 - 2018 BC Health Care Awards recipients revealed.

Recipients of the 12th annual BC Health Care Awards were announced today at a gala luncheon in Vancouver. Twelve Gold Apple and six Award of Merit recipients were honoured. For more information please see the Media Release.

June 15 - Health employers and Community Bargaining Association reach tentative agreement

HEABC and the Community Bargaining Association (CBA) have signed a three-year tentative agreement for the period between April 1, 2019 and March 31, 2022. As part of the normal process in advance of an agreement expiring, HEABC and the CBA entered into negotiations for a new contract in mid-May and reached a tentative agreement on June 12, 2018. January 15 - Nominations open for 2018 BC Health Care Awards

Nominations are open for the 2018 BC Health Care Awards. The BC Health Care Awards celebrate successes and achievements in BC’s health care system, and recognize people who provide outstanding care and support. Nominations will be accepted online at BCHealthCareAwards.ca until Friday, March 16, 2018.
